Anki for Desktop

Install and start Anki.

1) Download the Ankiconnect add-on

  1. In the main Anki window go to Tools > Add-ons > Get add-ons.
  2. Copy and paste this add-on code 2055492159 into the dialog window and click OK.
  3. Restart Anki.

2) Setting up Anki settings in Manatan

  1. Start Manatan, the WEB UI page will open.
  2. On the left hand side panel, click on Manatan to open the Manatan settings.
  3. Scroll down to the AnkiConnect Integration section and you will see Enable AnkiConnect. Click on it and you should then see the text Connected in green letters.
  4. Select the Target Deck and Card Type you would like to use. You also need to fill out the Field Mapping section. Select from the drop down menus the content you want sent to your card type's fields.

  2. Tap on More > Manatan Settings > Enable AnkiConnect. You should then see the text Connected in green letters.
  3. Select the Target Deck and Card Type you would like to use. You also need to fill out the Field Mapping section. Select from the drop down menus the content you want sent to your card type's fields.

Optional: Enable Image Cropper

When reading manga, enabling this allows you to crop the image sent to the Anki card.
