Tsuki ni Warau

Michihiko witnesses an incident in a classroom late at night. Since then, the thug Shinji has been hanging around the school area to investigate the incident. A frail honor student and a small-time gangster – two people of very different ages and backgrounds, but when they get to know each other, a strange friendship somehow blossoms, and Shinji’s presence becomes the only comfort for Michihiko’s immature mind and body. This novel depicts the span of nine years from the time they meet. (Source: Libre, translated)
