Elite

I, Saki Ayase, am a serious person. Ever since I was little, I listened to my mom, practiced hard, and everyone praised my performances. I also studied hard to become an "honor student" that everyone admired. I want to get better and better and become a great actress when I grow up! I was so sure that my dream would come true. However, I was told that my "honor student" performances lacked that spark, and my work as a child actress gradually dwindled. Encouraged by the fan letters, I continued to work hard without giving up, but... when I saw Rena Nanase's performance, I understood, "Ah, so that's what a genius looks like." A troubled elite's coming-of-age struggle to look forward once again! (Source: MF Bunko J, translated)
