Abend is an unorthodox thaumaturgist who operates directly on his patient’s soul to dispel curses. However, his miraculous treatment that can even remove curse impervious to normal procedures is an outlawed technique that has a 100% death rate in case of failures. While working as an underground doctor in secret, he serves as a lecturer in the Seminary, buried in thaumaturgical research for a certain purpose. In the midst of this everyday, he was attacked by genius thaumaturgist, Reimyu. Following that, an incident occurs where the students of the school were turned into stone.
