She Already Has Someone She Likes?!

“Every man has his secret sorrows which the world knows not; and oftentimes we call a man cold when he is only sad.” Kawamura Shizuka is the type of girl who lies awake at 2 in the morning thinking about that time in 3rd grade she accidentally called her teacher 'mom'. In stark contrast, Ishihara Mai is almost too sure of herself, exuding boundless confidence even when it's clear she's in the wrong. Despite the night-and-day difference in their worldviews, these two have somehow managed to become the best of friends, something that Shizuka is (begrudgingly) okay with... Until she finds out that the girl who she's always thought of out-of-her-league has a crush...on who, exactly? (seriously, would it kill her to be a little less vague?!) Like, obviously, she was never planning on confessing in the first place!!! But now...it's almost like Mai's forcing her hand!
