The Morgan Lacrosse Story

This gripping program examines the history of the first lacrosse team at a historically black university, tracing their ups and downs as they break racial barriers by entering the realm of a predominantly white sport with Native American roots. When a white administrator at Baltimore's Morgan State University takes on the job of creating a lacrosse team in the early 1970s, he and the athletes he leads find themselves on a life-changing journey.
