The Kitchen Killed Her Slowly

The Kitchen Killed Her Slowly is an observational documentary filmed entirely on a mobile phone, following the filmmaker's own grandmother through the quiet rhythms of her everyday life. As age, illness, and breathlessness make each task more difficult, the kitchen remains the center of her existence. Through patient observation and without imposing narration, the film reveals the invisible weight of unpaid domestic labor, generational sacrifice, and a life shaped by routine, care, and endurance.
