Her father only reports the money that Tawfiq stole, but does not report the assault on his daughter. Her baby is born, and she gives birth to her, but she is surprised that the baby is blind and cannot see. She sends her to a woman she knows to take care of her, and she meets a young man who loves her and asks her to marry him.
