風呼びのマカナ

Kazeyobi no Makana

The "wind people" bring fruitfulness and prosperity to the land, and the "wind callers" are the humans who have the power to call upon the wind people. Makana, a wind caller, was told by the village chief that it was time for her to find her own "companion." Makana did not want to be tied down to a "companion" yet because it would take away her freedom, but when she meets a selfish and uninhibited wind person by chance, she is forced to sign a pact of companionship with him...
