About this title
Set in a fantastical version of the 1990s, Need A Ride? is a short visual novel following the adventures of Polly, broken-hearted 20-something on a trip back home. When Polly's relationship falls apart, she's faced with the humiliating reality of moving back in with her father. She embarks on her cross-country trip home with nothing but two boxes and a suitcase for company. Along the way, she makes some unexpected friends... and realizes she's more capable than she thought she was. This demo was released as part of NaNoRenO 2023.
