To Be Cahuiten

About this title

Cahuita is a special little town on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica. Hear the story of this place from the people who know it best: calypso musicians, small restaurant owners, community elders, sea turtle rescuers, and Cahuita’s last cowboy. The film depicts a historically bilingual community, with subtitles in English and Spanish throughout.
