About this title

Hungarian-Australian immigrant Gergely leaves behind his alcoholic father to enlist in the Vietnam War. On arrival, he is greeted by a friendly Private Carlile and a hostile Private Finch, before they are joined by a disorientated Sergeant Donaldson, who warns them of an impending ambush.
