In 1977 a family was left without a mother, leaving the eldest daughter to take on this role. This documentary based in the North East, investigates the relationship between brother and sister, Michael and Pauline and this role change from sibling to motherly figure affected Pauline. Furthermore, how far can sibling love go to keep a family together as Pauline speaks to Michael for the first time about this event in their lives and how it affected her as she explains how the event truly unfolded.
