The Light Shining in the Void

About this title

The experimental documentary poetically delves into a female artist's quest for self-identity. It reflects on the traditional constraints affecting contemporary Chinese women's sense of self-worth, desires, and life experiences but also navigates the emotional oscillations faced during the transition between old and new eras, seeking to resonate deeply with viewers and inspire spiritual connections.
