About this title
In the late 1990s, Gibson, NC, transformed its town firehouse into the Firehouse Restaurant, a place where women greeted, cooked, served, and sang acappella gospel harmonies to their guests. This story highlights the South, where faith, food, and fellowship come together, and where the past and future intersect.
