Summer of Fellini

About this title

Casting a real-life family into a surreal dreamscape, short film Summer of Fellini frames the intimate dynamics of LA-based director duo and sisters Nicola and Juliana Giraffe through playful visual symbolism. A non-linear portrait of their experience growing up against their parents’ chaotic relationship, the film finds humor in their idiosyncrasies, collaged together as fragments of a family and the exchanges that define childhood memories.
