About this title

The natural landscape of Colombia’s Río Cauca Valley, with its mountains, forests, and rivers, has been reshaped and transformed for colonial hydroelectric production. Uprooted by the pursuit of profit, a community celebrates a fascinating ritual to remember and mourn its territory, contributing its own images and sounds to the film’s visual and audio stream.
