Silk on Silk While the World Burns

About this title

Shot in Brooklyn during the 2023 summer of collective grief and forest fire smoke, three artists sought shelter indoors to express feelings of doom, anarchy, and hedonism. This visceral film is a cathartic response to environmental collapse, exploring how queer bodies find endurance and resistance through an embrace of softness and urgent personal expression.
