Pipe Brothers

About this title

The Mission Clay Arts and Industry Program, now celebrating 46 years of activity, provides a unique environment blending an industrial clay pipe factory with visiting artists in residence, in Phoenix Arizona. Tom Franco and company embarked on a 3-year process of sculpting and color glazing 12 eight-foot-tall pipes standing up on end for public art display. This is the story of community art making for the public setting.
