Obsolescenza programmata

About this title

A meditation on death and technology. In 1924, the Phoebus cartel established a fixed lifespan for a light bulb: 1,000 hours. This strategy, which defines a product's life cycle with the aim of facilitating its replacement, has been called planned obsolescence.
