Emma and Madison do not know each other, but they dance together, anticipating the aesthetic, mental, and social needs of their unknown audience. As they move intuitively with nuanced intentions, manifested by their personal experiences, cultural backgrounds, and social sensibilities, they share a common desire to empathize and create a kind of "ethical proximity at a distance" with the digital viewer(s).
