About this title
Marktl, birthplace of Pope Benedict XVI, transforms from a quiet village to a global pilgrimage site. The film traces his early life, Marktl’s twinning with Wadowice, townspeople’s journey to St. Peter’s, gifts and celebrations in his honor, and the balance between devotion and tourism.
