About this title
It's a community that’s been battling for decades against the systematic dismantling of their school system by private interests and government takeovers. LIES CLOSED THIS SCHOOL weaves the voices of a student, a teacher, a mother, and a long-time activist as they fight, simply, for democratic control of their public schools.
