La moitié du ciel d'Allah

About this title

In Algeria, the war against women began a long time ago. Forever, to be a woman in Algeria is an experience of suffering and hope, between the inside and the outside. Outside: revolt, freedom, work.. but exile too. Built on their memory and hope, this film is the story of the other half of the sky, constrained by History and men to dedicate their lives to struggle simply to be.
