La Lotion magique

About this title

A film from 1905 that playfully explores a reversal of physical gender characteristics and can be understood as part of the emerging discourse on hormones at the time. In a second step, the lecture draws a connection to contemporary films and (auto)theories that discuss hormones and transitioning.
