Iceland: Ashcloud Apocalypse

About this title

Documentary looking at research into volcanic activity in Iceland, one of the most volcanically active regions in the world. The programme examines past events, such as the poisonous sulphur dioxide haze exhaled by Laki in 1783, and explores how it is possible for us to reconstruct them.
