Dedicated to the Birthday Honoree

About this title

A rare example of found footage edited as a video greeting for a best friend's birthday. The tape brings together an entire range of late twentieth-century amateur filmmaking techniques and formats—from Super 8 footage and simple collage animations to home videos and parodies of television commercials. Yet behind this curious videotape may lie a far more intimate story.
