About this title
The story of how the Bucket Lake in Eckernförde came about is legendary and so strange that it has to be told in a film. Using simple means, a man created a lake that has developed into a biotope worth protecting with an enormous diversity of animals and plants. A prime example of renaturation. Even though the film is now several years old, the topic is more relevant than ever.
