About this title
Weaving together recollections of a female oil worker, daydreams of school children, and nostalgic memories of residents' past, "As long as there's us" transcends temporality, documenting the past and present of an oil-producing city in northeastern China. Vibrant colors and sounds of the city, along with quiet and meditative scenes of industry and abandonment coalesce at a juncture in time.
