A German Family

About this title

Summer in an idyllic garden, parties, celebrations, and visits. A carefree family life, caught on 8-mm film by the father. When Monika looks at the film material again 40 years later, memories start to awaken … of the stories behind the pictures. Of the things the smiling faces don't reveal. Of the things that weren't caught on film. A portrait of a family, in the shadow of the past.
